Cassius Secures AU$5 million Funding to Advance Projects and Arbitration Strategy
Cassius Mining Limited (ASX: CMD) has reported the execution of binding commitments to raise AU$5 million through the issue of secured convertible notes to sophisticated investors, strengthening its funding position. The capital raise provides a clear pathway to progress exploration activities and advance the Soalara Limestone Project in Madagascar toward development, alongside supporting general working capital requirements. The funding also supports the Company’s ongoing international arbitration proceedings against Ghana, where an updated independent expert assessment has valued potential damages at approximately US$905 million. The arbitration process has reached an advanced stage, with the final hearing scheduled for mid-June 2026 at The Hague. The secured convertible structure provides funding flexibility while aligning with near-term strategic milestones.
