ARC Funds Limited– Strategic Minority Investment in Ausbiz
ARC Funds Limited (ASX: ARC) has entered into a conditional agreement to acquire a 25% minority, passive equity stake in Ausbiz Group Pty Ltd, a digital media platform focused on financial markets content and investor engagement. The transaction will be executed through the issuance of 8,130,000 fully paid ordinary shares at an issue price of AU$0.125 per share, reflecting a premium to recent trading levels. Importantly, the investment is non-controlling in nature, with ARC confirming that it will not influence Ausbiz’s financial or operational decisions, allowing the business to function independently.
The agreement is still dependent on standard conditions, such as the completion of due diligence, obtaining required regulatory clearances, and securing shareholder approval. Strategically, this investment aligns with ARC’s focus on selective exposure to financial services and related sectors. Additionally, the company clarified that the transaction does not represent a material shift in its operational scope under ASX Listing Rules, reinforcing continuity in its broader investment approach.
