OzAurum Resources Advances Toward Near-Term Gold Production
OzAurum Resources Limited (ASX: OZM) reported significant progress during the June 2026 quarter as it continued advancing the Mulgabbie North Gold Project in Western Australia. The company completed a 435-hole, 15,646-metre reverse circulation grade control drilling program, confirming widespread shallow, high-grade gold mineralisation across the Paleochannel deposit. Several outstanding drill intersections reinforced the project's resource growth potential, while mineralisation remained open along a trend extending beyond four kilometres.
Development activities also gathered momentum as civil works commenced and refurbishment of the heap leach processing plant neared completion, supporting the company's low-capex pathway to production. Metallurgical testing continued to deliver encouraging outcomes, including gold recoveries of up to 82%, highlighting the project's suitability for heap leach processing. OzAurum also progressed environmental permitting, mine planning and infrastructure development, positioning the project for the next stage of execution while maintaining a disciplined approach to capital expenditure and operational risk.
