Aurum Advances Boundiali Towards Development Following Major Feasibility and Reserve Milestones
Aurum Resources Limited (ASX: AUE) recorded a pivotal quarter as it progressed the Boundiali Gold Project from exploration into the development phase through the completion of key technical, regulatory and resource milestones. During the period, the Company established its first Probable Ore Reserve of 42.1 million tonnes grading 0.9 g/t gold, containing 1.21 million ounces, while the newly completed Pre-Feasibility Study outlined a scalable mining operation capable of processing 6 million tonnes per annum. The study highlighted robust long-term project economics, including an estimated US$2.0 billion in post-tax free cash flow, US$3.1 billion in life-of-mine EBITDA, a post-tax NPV5% of US$1.5 billion, and a 119% post-tax internal rate of return based on the consensus long-term gold price. During the quarter, Aurum also expanded the Boundiali Mineral Resource to 3.22 million ounces, secured environmental approvals, strengthened its project leadership team, continued extensive resource conversion drilling, and closed the quarter with AU$54.6 million in cash, supporting ongoing Definitive Feasibility Study activities and the targeted commencement of production in the first half of calendar year 2028.
