Iltani Resources Delivers Strong High-Grade Silver Results at Orient East
Iltani Resources Limited (ASX: ILT) has revealed favourable assay results generated through its ongoing reverse circulation drilling work at the Orient Silver-Indium Project in Queensland. The latest drilling has returned several high-grade intersections of silver, lead, zinc, and indium, further reinforcing the project's significant mineralisation potential and supporting its ongoing exploration success. Standout results from Orient East included broad mineralised zones in drillholes ORR160, ORR162, ORR164 and ORR166, with ORR164 delivering exceptional high-grade intervals containing up to 1,683 g/t silver equivalent. The company has now completed 81 of its planned 110 drill holes, while additional assay results are expected over the coming months as drilling progresses.
The latest drilling supports continuity of high-grade mineralisation along strike and at depth, with several zones remaining open for further testing. Iltani plans additional extension and infill drilling alongside diamond drilling to obtain core samples for advanced metallurgical and ore-sorting studies. The Orient Project already hosts a JORC Mineral Resource of 62.5 Mt at 81.5 g/t silver equivalent, with management aiming to improve resource confidence and potentially expand the existing resource through continued exploration. The company believes these results strengthen the development outlook for Australia's largest known silver-indium deposit while advancing future scoping and feasibility studies.
