Minerals Exploration Completes Initial Jubilee Drilling and Uncovers Exceptional High-Grade Gold at Waitekauri

Minerals Exploration Limited (ASX: MEX) has completed the first phase of diamond drilling at the historic Jubilee prospect within its Waitekauri Gold Project in New Zealand, with all eight completed drill holes intersecting quartz-mineralised zones and confirming the continuation of the gold system. The strongest drilling result returned 0.5 metres at 10.5 grams per tonne gold from 90.5 metres in hole TGW005, while hole TGW008 identified a previously unrecognised east-west trending silver-rich quartz-base metal structure, delivering 27.7 metres at 0.08 grams per tonne gold and 21.5 grams per tonne silver from 184.1 metres. Beyond drilling, extensive geological mapping and rock chip sampling have highlighted significant exploration upside across the broader project area. A visible-gold-bearing boulder near the Sovereign prospect returned an exceptional assay of 2,273 grams per tonne gold, alongside additional high-grade samples of 362 grams per tonne, 283 grams per tonne, 230 grams per tonne and 129 grams per tonne gold. The company has now shifted drilling activities toward Jubilee South and plans further testing at the Sovereign prospect, supported by ongoing aeromagnetic, geochemical and geological programs aimed at identifying the source of these high-grade gold occurrences and expanding known mineralised zones.
