Larvotto Highlights Significant Exploration Potential at Midas Lode
Larvotto Resources Limited (ASX: LRV) has announced an initial Exploration Target for the Midas Lode within its Hillgrove Antimony-Gold Project, identifying a substantial opportunity to increase future resources and extend mine life. The company’s preferred target is estimated at 3.95 million tonnes grading 5.16 g/t gold equivalent, representing approximately 656,000 gold-equivalent ounces. Based on current geological modelling and drilling information, the overall exploration target ranges from 223,000 to 2.95 million gold-equivalent ounces. The Midas Lode has been traced over a strike length exceeding 900 metres and tested to depths of around 560 metres, while remaining open for further expansion both along strike and at depth. Importantly, the target is located close to existing underground workings, which could enable more efficient exploration and development activities. To advance the project, Larvotto plans a major drilling program aimed at defining a maiden mineral resource, improving geological confidence, and evaluating additional nearby mineralised structures.
