L1 Group Launches IPO for L1 Gold Fund, Targeting AU$900 Million.
L1 Group Limited (ASX: L1G) has officially opened the Initial Public Offering (IPO) for L1 Gold Fund Limited (LGF), a new investment vehicle focused on achieving positive returns by investing in the gold and precious metals sectors. LGF is scheduled to list on the ASX on 24 April 2026, following the strategy of the previously launched L1 Capital Gold Fund. The IPO has already secured approximately AU$900 million in commitments, with strong interest from L1G's existing network and the distribution syndicate.
The founders of L1 Capital, Mark Landau and Raphael Lamm, have pledged a minimum of AU$120 million to the fund, aligning their interests with those of LGF shareholders. Due to the high demand, the Broker Firm Offer period has closed early. L1 Group will fund redemptions for Wholesale Gold Fund investors using its own balance sheet.
