Electro Optic Systems Holdings Limited Secures US Defence Orders and Advances Korean Laser Contract
Electro Optic Systems Holdings Limited (ASX: EOS) has strengthened its defence order book through new contract wins in the United States while progressing a significant high-energy laser opportunity in Korea. The company secured two contracts worth US$12 million, including a US$5 million agreement with the U.S. Army for advanced Remote Weapon Systems and a US$7 million order from Northrop Grumman for counter-drone Slinger systems, both scheduled for delivery in 2026. These contracts reinforce EOS’s positioning in next-generation defence technologies and highlight ongoing collaboration with key global defence players.
Additionally, EOS continues discussions regarding a conditional US$80 million contract for a 100kW High Energy Laser system, with progress made toward meeting key conditions such as deposit payment, financing arrangements, and facility validation. The company expects potential conversion of this contract into a firm agreement in Q2 2026, although uncertainty remains.
