Charger Metals Reports Deeper Lithium Discovery at Medcalf West.
Charger Metals (ASX: CHR) has announced new drilling results from its Lake Johnston project in Western Australia, indicating that lithium mineralisation at Medcalf West extends further at depth. The company completed over 3,400 metres of drilling during the quarter, combining diamond and reverse circulation methods. Recent findings confirm the presence of spodumene-rich zones down to more than 200 metres, with multiple mineralised intervals showing consistent lithium grades. The deposit is characterised by stacked pegmatite bodies that begin at surface and continue downward, supporting the potential for open-pit development. The mineralised zone spans a strike length of roughly 1,200 metres and appears connected to the broader Medcalf system, highlighting its expansion potential. Additional assay results are expected soon, which could lead to an upgraded resource estimate. Overall, the latest drilling outcomes strengthen confidence in the project’s scale and future development prospects.
