Bass Oil Delivers Stronger Production and Advances Key Growth Initiatives
Bass Oil Limited (ASX: BAS) recorded a solid operational performance during May, benefiting from higher production across its Australian and Indonesian assets. Total output reached 6,789 barrels for the month, contributing to sales revenue of approximately AU$735,630. Improved field performance and strong operational reliability helped lift production compared to the previous month.
The company continues to progress several development initiatives aimed at expanding its future production base. In the Cooper Basin, efforts are underway to complete the acquisition of the Vanessa Gas Field, which could provide access to new gas production opportunities and support reserve growth. Bass is also advancing development planning at the Kiwi Gas Field, where technical studies and seismic analysis have identified encouraging exploration potential.
Internationally, activity is gaining momentum in Indonesia following the commencement of drilling at the Bunian 6 well. Management expects the project to contribute meaningfully to future production levels once operational. Together, these developments highlight Bass Oil’s focus on growing output, expanding reserves, and strengthening its long-term energy portfolio.
