Electro Optic Systems Holdings Limited (ASX: EOS) has secured two key contracts worth approximately US$12 million (AU$17 million), further expanding its footprint in the US defense market. The contracts involve the development of Remote Weapon Systems (RWS) for the US Army and the production of Slinger RWS for Northrop Grumman’s Agnostic Gun Truck. This positive development contributed to a 3.5% increase in EOS’s share price, which reached AU$8.340.

Details of the New Contracts
The new contracts include a US$5 million deal to enhance Remote Weapon Systems (RWS) for the US Army and a follow-up US$7 million order for producing Slinger RWS for Northrop Grumman’s Agnostic Gun Truck, focused on counter-drone applications. Both contracts are scheduled for delivery in 2026, marking an important step for EOS in the defense technology sector.

Potential High-Energy Laser Contract
In addition to these orders, EOS is negotiating a conditional US$80 million contract with Goldrone to supply a 100kW High Energy Laser Weapon. This contract could be finalized in Q2 2026, but it depends on several conditions, including a deposit payment and an inspection of EOS’s Singapore facility.

Investor Outlook for EOS
The recent surge in EOS's stock price highlights investor confidence, driven by the company’s expanding defense contracts and growing market presence. The potential conversion of the Korean contract into a firm deal could provide further growth opportunities, positioning EOS for continued success in the defense industry.
