TG Metals Limited Confirms Significant Laterite Gold Growth Potential at Van Uden
TG Metals Limited (ASX: TG6) has reported encouraging drilling results from its Van Uden Gold Project in Western Australia, confirming extensive near-surface laterite-hosted gold mineralisation beyond the existing Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). A 213-hole auger drilling program identified widespread gold mineralisation from surface, providing strong evidence that the current laterite resource can be expanded through low-cost infill drilling.
The existing laterite resource stands at 1.053Mt at 0.52g/t Au for 17,700oz, while the total Van Uden resource comprises 7.94Mt at 1.06g/t Au for 270,800oz. The expanded laterite footprint could support a larger and longer-life heap leach operation, enhancing near-term cash flow potential through low capital costs and gold recoveries exceeding 90% from metallurgical testwork. The company expects to release its Heap Leach Study within 2–4 weeks, commence Aircore resource definition drilling in mid-August, and continue advancing engineering, financing and project development activities.
