ADX Energy Ltd Lifts Austrian Production Through Vienna Basin Enhancement Program
ADX Energy Ltd (ASX: ADX) has delivered a significant operational milestone by increasing its Austrian hydrocarbon production following the successful completion of a behind-pipe perforation program at its wholly owned Vienna Basin Fields. The GA-10A and GA-93 wells added approximately 75 barrels of oil equivalent per day (BOEPD), lifting Vienna Basin production from around 150 BOEPD to 220 BOEPD and increasing the company’s total Austrian output, including the Anshof Field, to approximately 285 BOEPD, representing a 35% increase.
Building on this momentum, ADX has commenced further production enhancement initiatives and is preparing infill and appraisal drilling campaigns targeted for 2027 to expand reserves and production capacity. The fields benefit from low operating costs, royalties below 1%, premium Brent-linked oil pricing and attractive European gas prices, supporting strong project economics. Existing infrastructure and immediate tie-in capability for future wells position ADX to generate higher cash flow and sustainable long-term value from its Austrian asset portfolio.
