The Qantas Group has announced various major fleet decisions that will reform its international as well as domestic networks over the next 10 years and beyond.
Domestically, Qantas will initiate the renovation of its narrow body jets as portion of Project Winton with firm orders for twenty Airbus A321XLRs as well as twenty A220-300s. The first of these aircraft will start to reach in late 2023. 94 purchase order rights spread over at least 10 years.
Internationally, 12 Airbus A350-1000s will be ordered to run continuously Project Sunrise flights from Australia to different cities comprising New York and London.
