Elixir Energy Completes Key Fracture Stimulation Milestone at Lorelle-3H
Elixir Energy Limited (ASX: EXR) has successfully completed the 12-stage fracture stimulation program at its high-impact Lorelle-3H appraisal well in Queensland’s Taroom Trough, marking a major operational milestone ahead of production testing. The stimulation campaign covered 1,033 metres of net gas-condensate pay within the Tinowon ‘Dunk’ Sandstone reservoir, with 100% of the injected proppant successfully placed within the target formation. Pressure data collected during the operation confirmed effective fracture connectivity and reservoir performance in line with expectations. The Company has now commenced milling out stage plugs before initiating a controlled flow-back program, which will be followed by a 30-day gas-condensate production test. The testing is designed to demonstrate commercial gas and condensate flow rates, validate reservoir performance and support the potential conversion of existing contingent gas resources into reserves. Management believes the program represents an important step in unlocking the commercial potential of its substantial Taroom Trough gas portfolio and advancing future development planning.
