Mineral Resources released March 2022 quarter updates

Mineral Resources (ASX:MIN) released its March 2022 quarter exploration and mining activities report. During the quarter, the Company reported strong safety performance and no Lost Time Injuries.

• Mining Services production volumes were 63.4Mt, up 16% compared to the previous corresponding period.
• Iron ore shipments totalled 4.7M wet metric tonnes. It was up 22% and was driven by growth at the Utah Point Hub.
• The average realised iron ore price for the quarter was US$101.31 per dry metric tonnes, up 60% compared to previous quarter.
• The Mt Marion Lithium Project produced 104k dry metric tonnes (dmt) and shipped 94k dmt of spodumene concentrate during the period.
• MIN entered into a non-binding letter contract with Albemarle Corporation to explore a possible expansion of the MARBL Lithium Joint Venture.
• Wodgina shipped 22k dmt of spodumene concentrate from existing stockpiles at US$2,200/dmt.
