Lodestar Reports Positive Gold Results From Neds Creek Drilling Program
Lodestar Minerals Limited (ASX: LSR) has delivered encouraging early results from its ongoing drilling activities at the Ned’s Creek Gold Project in Western Australia. The company has already completed more than half of its planned 10,000m reverse circulation drilling campaign, with 48 drill holes covering 6,391m. Laboratory analysis for a large number of remaining samples is still underway.
The drilling program has successfully confirmed the presence of key gold-bearing geological structures targeted by the company. Several favourable indicators, including quartz veins, sulphide mineralisation, hematite alteration, and strongly sheared rock formations, were identified across multiple drill holes.
Initial assay outcomes from the first two completed holes returned notable gold intersections, including 9m grading 1.27g/t gold from 32m depth and 15m grading 1.46g/t gold from 151m depth. Lodestar stated that the campaign is aimed at expanding known mineralisation and supporting the development of a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate expected in 2026. The project’s location near existing gold processing infrastructure may also enhance future development potential.
