Ioneer Ltd (ASX: INR) announced that it had entered into a supply contract with the Prime Planet Energy & Solutions joint venture (JV) between Toyota Motor Corporation and Panasonic Corporation. As per the deed, the company will supply 4,000 tons yearly of lithium carbonate to the Prime Planet Energy & Solutions (PPES) over a 5-year term. PPES is a battery manufacturing company established via JV between Toyota and Panasonic.
The company forecasted to manufacture on an annual average of ~20.600K tonnes of lithium carbonate/hydroxide plus ~174.400K tonnes of boric acid annually over 26-years Rhyolite Ridge project’s life.
