Greenwing Highlights Deeper Lithium Potential at San Jorge Project

Greenwing Resources Ltd (ASX: GW1) has revealed promising insights from its recent magnetotelluric survey at the San Jorge Lithium Project in Argentina, indicating significant expansion potential. The study suggests that the lithium-rich brine system could extend to depths of nearly 1,000 metres, far beyond the previously drilled limit of 402 metres. This points to a much larger subsurface system than initially identified.

A key observation is the steady increase in lithium concentration with depth, with deeper samples recording levels as high as 248 mg/L, above the current average resource grade. This trend supports the possibility of higher-quality material existing in deeper, untested zones. Additionally, the brine system remains open laterally, further enhancing exploration potential. Based on these findings, the company is planning deeper drilling campaigns to better define the resource, aiming to increase both its size and overall grade.
