Barton Gold Uncovers Strong High-Grade Results at Challenger Project.
Barton Gold Holdings Limited (ASX: BGD) has reported strong drilling outcomes from its Challenger Gold Project, highlighting the presence of higher-than-expected gold grades. The recently completed reverse circulation drilling campaign, spanning over 8,000 metres, focused on expanding known mineralised zones and assessing nearby targets. The results confirmed existing mineralisation while also identifying new high-grade zones, with standout intercepts reaching up to 170 grams per tonne of gold.
Importantly, much of this mineralisation is located close to existing open pits, supporting the potential for low-risk and accessible mining opportunities. The findings also indicate that several mineralised areas remain open, suggesting further exploration upside. These results are expected to improve resource modelling and guide upcoming drilling activities. At the same time, the company is advancing feasibility studies aimed at evaluating a staged restart strategy, leveraging existing infrastructure to support future production and enhance project value.
