Araxá Project Delivers Outstanding High-Grade Rare Earths Success for St George Mining
St George Mining (ASX: SGQ) has reported another strong round of drilling results from its wholly owned Araxá Rare Earths and Niobium Project in Brazil, highlighting the scale and consistency of mineralisation across the deposit. The standout result came from hole AXDD120, which intersected a record 199.5 metres of continuous mineralisation from surface, including broad high-grade rare earth and niobium zones. Additional drill holes, including AXDD127, AXDD115 and AXDD131, also returned thick, high-grade intercepts from surface, reinforcing confidence in the project's expanding mineral system.
The latest 23-hole drilling campaign has extended the mineralised footprint by up to 200 metres to the north while confirming strong continuity within the existing resource area. Mineralisation remains open at depth, with high-grade zones continuing to the end of the deepest hole, indicating further growth potential. The upcoming mineral resource estimate upgrade is expected to incorporate these results and support future economic studies. With a combination of large-scale rare earth and niobium mineralisation, St George continues to strengthen Araxá's potential as a significant future supplier of critical minerals for global clean energy and advanced manufacturing markets.
