Alara Resources Achieves Strong FY26 Copper Shipment Milestone from Oman Operations
Alara Resources Limited (ASX: AUQ) has announced the successful dispatch of its 51st copper concentrate cargo from the Al Wash-hi Majaza mining operation in Oman, marking another key operational achievement. The most recent shipment included about 1,060 wet metric tonnes of copper concentrate, carrying an estimated 205 metric tonnes of contained copper, reflecting the company's ongoing operational consistency.During FY26, the operation delivered a total of approximately 39,287 WMT of copper concentrate, representing about 7,230 metric tonnes of contained copper. The mine is operated by Al Hadeetha Resources LLC, in which Alara holds a 51% interest. The company also confirmed that three additional shipments have already reached Sohar Port and are awaiting vessel loading, with departures expected in early July 2026. The continued flow of shipments highlights stable production and logistics performance while reinforcing Alara's strategy of expanding its copper operations and supporting long-term value creation through consistent operational execution and resource development.
