49 Metals Uncovers Strong Gold and Silver Mineralisation at Gold Mountain
49 Metals Limited (ASX: 49M) has reported encouraging early drilling outcomes from its first reverse circulation drilling campaign at the Gold Mountain Project in Nevada, USA. Initial assay results from the first eight drill holes confirmed the presence of significant gold and silver mineralisation across several target zones, reinforcing the company’s view that the project hosts a large mineralised system.
Among the strongest results, drilling at the Monte Christo Zone returned high-grade intersections, including 1.5m grading 15.8g/t gold and 284g/t silver within a broader mineralised interval. The Adit Zone also delivered promising results, with a wide mineralised section of 33.5m grading 1.1g/t gold and multiple higher-grade intervals identified within the broader zone.
According to the company, every drill hole completed so far has intersected gold or silver mineralisation, highlighting the consistency of the system. Additional assay results are still pending, while ongoing drilling continues to test further exploration targets across the project area.
