Terra Metals Reports Expansion of Sulfide Mineralisation at Southwest Prospect
Terra Metals Limited (ASX: TM1) has announced positive drilling outcomes from the Southwest Prospect within its fully owned Dante Project in Western Australia. The latest drilling campaign indicates that the platinum group metals (PGM), copper, and nickel sulfide system continues to expand in scale. Mineralisation has now been identified across roughly 850 metres of strike length, around 650 metres in width, and to depths exceeding 348 metres, with the system still open at depth. Re-analysis of previous drill samples confirmed the presence of valuable iridium-group metals such as rhodium, iridium, ruthenium, and osmium, supporting the interpretation of a strong magmatic sulfide mineral system. Several drill holes intersected thick zones of mineralisation containing notable PGM grades alongside copper and nickel. Additionally, drilling at the nearby SW2 target revealed a large iron-oxide-apatite intrusive system enriched with elements including titanium, scandium, vanadium, and rare earth elements, highlighting the potential for multiple mineralisation styles across the broader Dante Project area.
