Kuniko Identifies Significant Sulphide Mineralisation at Commonwealth–Silica Hill Project.
Kuniko Limited (ASX: KNI) has reported promising initial outcomes from its Phase 1 diamond drilling program at the Commonwealth–Silica Hill Project located in the Lachlan Fold Belt of New South Wales. The company has completed three drill holes totalling about 540 metres as part of a planned six-hole program designed to evaluate extensions of known mineralisation. Drilling at the Commonwealth Main area intersected notable zones of massive and semi-massive sulphides, including an interval of 3.7 metres within a broader 47.3 metre mineralised section and another 2.9 metre massive sulphide zone within a wider 41.9 metre interval. These results suggest strong continuity of the mineralised lens and indicate that the system remains open both at depth and along strike. At the nearby Silica Hill target, drilling encountered roughly 60 metres of disseminated and vein-style sulphide mineralisation containing visible silver minerals. Exploration is continuing, with additional drill holes planned to better define the scale and potential of the broader mineral system.
