Swoop Strengthens Mobile Growth Strategy Through TPG Partnership
Swoop Holdings Limited (ASX: SWP) has announced that its subsidiary, Moose Mobile, has entered into a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) wholesale agreement with TPG Telecom (ASX: TPG), effective 16 June 2026. The partnership provides Moose Mobile with access to TPG’s nationwide mobile network, enhancing Swoop’s ability to deliver mobile services to residential, business, and wholesale customers across Australia. The agreement is expected to improve gross margin performance by more than 50% across FY27 to FY29 while supporting the company’s objective of expanding its mobile subscriber base to over 180,000 services over the next three years.
The arrangement strengthens Swoop’s competitive position through access to tier-one network infrastructure and improved wholesale economics, reducing average cost per user and supporting profitability. Combined with the rollout of a new billing platform and eSIM capabilities, the company expects an enhanced customer experience and stronger cross-selling opportunities. Management believes the partnership will enable sustainable mobile growth, while TPG highlighted the agreement as further evidence of increasing competition and consumer choice in the Australian telecommunications market.
