Can Expanding Uranium Mineralisation at Muntanga Strengthen Atomic Eagle’s Growth Potential?
Atomic Eagle Limited (ASX: AEU) has reported further exploration success at its 100%-owned Muntanga Uranium Project in Zambia, with ongoing drilling continuing to extend known uranium mineralisation at the Chisebuka deposit. Recent drilling intersected multiple mineralised zones, including 5.4 metres at 422 ppm eU₃O₈, 12.8 metres at 237 ppm eU₃O₈, 10.3 metres at 210 ppm eU₃O₈ and 7.3 metres at 284 ppm eU₃O₈, supporting the expansion of the existing resource footprint. The northern higher-grade zone has now expanded to approximately 900 metres by 600 metres, while the south-west higher-grade zone has grown to 830 metres by 400 metres. Drilling has also confirmed continuity between the south-west zone and the existing resource area, potentially enhancing future resource growth opportunities. The Company plans to commence a reverse circulation drilling program at Chisebuka and has mobilised two drill rigs to begin maiden drilling at the Muntanga North exploration target, with additional exploration planned at the Namakande targets during Q3 2026.
