Red Sky Secures Yarrow Development with Santos and Advances Toward Near-Term Gas Production
Red Sky Energy Limited (ASX: ROG) has reported the execution of a binding Authority for Expenditure with joint venture partner Santos Limited to progress a two-well development program at the Yarrow gas field in South Australia’s Cooper Basin. The agreement confirms Red Sky will retain a 20% working interest in the project and participate in the upcoming drilling campaign, with the first well expected to commence imminently. The Yarrow field is located within the established Innamincka gas system, benefiting from existing infrastructure and enabling a pathway to near-term production and cash flow generation. To support its funding obligations, the Company has secured placement commitments of AU$1.0 million and plans to undertake a rights issue to fund the remaining expenditure. The program builds on the successful commissioning of the Yarrow 1 well in November 2025 and represents the next phase of field development, positioning Red Sky to enhance production capacity and operational momentum.
