Perenti Appoints Dr. Vanessa Torres as Managing Director & CEO

Perenti Limited (ASX: PRN) has announced the appointment of Dr. Vanessa Torres as the new Managing Director & CEO, effective June 1, 2026. Dr. Torres, who brings over 25 years of global experience, most recently served as Chief Operating Officer at South32. Dr. Torres has also served in key executive roles at BHP and Vale. Her appointment follows a rigorous selection process, with a focus on building on the company’s strong growth and diversification.

Dr. Torres succeeds Mark Norwell, who has led the company since 2018, delivering significant revenue growth and operational improvements. Under her leadership, Perenti aims to continue its strategy of long-term, sustainable growth across its global mining services business. She will begin her tenure at Perenti on April 13, 2026, with Mr. Norwell assisting during the transition phase .
