Recharge Metals Acquires Gold Asset in WAs Eastern Goldfields
Recharge Metals Ltd (ASX: REC) has executed a binding agreement to acquire a 100 per cent interest in the Sunset Well Gold Project, located in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields. The asset includes the Prospero Deposit, which contains a Mineral Resource of 2.87 million tonnes grading 1.0 gram per tonne gold, equating to approximately 94,500 ounces.
Sunset Well is strategically positioned in a prolific gold district with seven operating gold plants within a 100-kilometre radius. The project covers a 10-kilometre Prospero shear zone with multiple historic gold intersections and an additional 8-kilometre Flanders trend that remains largely underexplored.
Consideration for the acquisition comprises 260,000,000 shares at AU$0.01 per share, equating to AU$2.6 million. Recharge has also secured firm commitments to raise AU$3.97 million via a placement at AU$0.01 per share to fund exploration, development, and working capital.
The acquisition provides an existing gold resource, strong regional infrastructure access, and multiple drill-ready targets, positioning the Company for both brownfields expansion and Greenfields discovery upside.
