Prairie Lithium Restructures Board to Support Transition Towards Commercial Production
Prairie Lithium Limited (ASX: PL9) has announced a strategic reorganisation of its Board and executive leadership structure as the company advances from the development stage towards commercial lithium production at its Prairie Lithium Project in Saskatchewan, Canada. Effective immediately, Paul Lloyd has transitioned from Managing Director to Executive Chairman, where he will oversee corporate strategy, capital markets engagement and project financing activities. Barnaby Egerton-Warburton has moved from Non-Executive Chairman to Non-Executive Director, maintaining independent board oversight while contributing his investment banking expertise. Under the revised structure, Executive Director Zach Maurer will continue leading the technical delivery of the commercial-scale Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) modules and the Phase 1 proof-of-concept plant, while Executive Director Matthew Blumberg will focus on commercial negotiations, strategic partnerships and existing offtake arrangements. The Non-Executive Directors will continue overseeing audit, risk management and governance as the company progresses construction and prepares for first commercial lithium brine production in 2026. The board believes the revised leadership framework provides clearly defined responsibilities to support the company's next stage of growth and operational execution.
