HighCom Expands Banking Support With Enhanced AU$4.5 Million Loan Facility
HighCom Limited (ASX: HCL) has secured an expanded loan facility with the Commonwealth Bank, increasing its available funding from AU$1.5 million to AU$4.5 million. The revised two-year facility replaces the company’s previous US lending arrangement with PNC Bank and is intended to support working capital, capital expenditure, and rising product demand.
The defence technology company said the strengthened banking arrangement complements its existing cash reserves following the successful AU$7.8 million capital raise completed during Q3 FY26. Management stated that the enhanced funding flexibility would assist the company in supporting future sales growth while optimising financing costs. Executive chairman Geoff Knox said the renewed support from Commonwealth Bank reflects confidence in HighCom’s growth strategy and expanding sales pipeline. The company continues to focus on supplying ballistic protection products and defence technology solutions across domestic and international markets.
