Market Alert : Ongoing Middle East Tensions Shake Investor Sentiment Globally

EVT Maintains Growth Outlook for FY26 Despite Operational Headwinds

EVT Limited (ASX: EVT) has outlined its FY26 outlook, expecting to achieve growth in normalised EBITDA compared to the prior year, despite facing a range of operational and external challenges. The Hotels division, which remains the primary earnings contributor, is projected to deliver a slightly improved performance, supported by strong trading trends, new business initiatives, acquisitions, and ongoing upgrades. These gains are partially offset by refurbishment works, asset disposals, and disruptions at select properties.

The Entertainment segment is anticipated to record moderate growth, driven by solid international performance, although impacted by temporary closures and variability in film releases. Major global events may also influence attendance levels. Thredbo is expected to generate steady earnings, subject to weather conditions and travel demand. While some softness in demand has emerged, particularly in certain travel segments, EVT continues to demonstrate resilience with a balanced and steady outlook for the year.
