ASF Group Unlocks Value Through AU$3.08 Million Sale of Queensland Coking Coal Portfolio
ASF Group Limited (ASX: AFA) has entered into a Share Sale and Purchase Agreement to divest its wholly owned subsidiary, ASF Coking Coal Pty Ltd (ACC), to Terra Mineral Resources Investment Limited for cash consideration of AU$3.08 million. The transaction represents a strategic move to monetise non-core assets while strengthening the Company’s financial position and supporting future investment opportunities.
ACC holds a portfolio of nine coal tenements in Queensland, which ASF identified as non-core to its broader long-term growth strategy. Management noted that the divestment delivers attractive value for shareholders and enables the Company to redirect capital toward higher-priority initiatives across its diversified investment portfolio.
The proceeds from the transaction are expected to be allocated toward growth opportunities, new investments and working capital requirements, enhancing ASF’s flexibility to pursue strategic projects across its key focus sectors, including property, resources, technology and financial services.
