Vital Metals Confirms High-Grade Rare Earth Results at Nechalacho and Identifies New Exploration Targets.
Vital Metals Limited (ASX: VML) has reported final assay results from recent sampling at its Nechalacho Rare Earths and Niobium Project in Canada, revealing exceptionally high rare earth concentrations and strengthening the project’s exploration potential. The results include a standout sample grading 29.2% total rare earth oxides (TREO), representing the highest value recorded at the site. The sample also contained notable levels of neodymium and praseodymium, two key elements used in advanced magnet technologies.
Another sample from the R Zone delivered 12.5% TREO, including strong dysprosium content, highlighting the presence of valuable heavy rare earth elements within the system. The exploration program has also identified six new targets located beyond the existing resource area, indicating potential for additional discoveries. To further evaluate these opportunities, the company has begun a 1,000-metre drilling program across several priority zones. At the same time, Vital Metals is advancing development work at the Tardiff deposit and assessing options to process stockpiled material to support future production.
