AXP Energy Limited Secures AU$800,000 Placement to Support Oklahoma Oil Development
AXP Energy Limited (ASX: AXP) has secured AU$800,000 through a capital raising supported by sophisticated and professional investors, aimed at advancing development activities at its Oklahoma oil project and strengthening the company’s working capital position. The placement will involve the issuance of 66,666,667 new fully paid ordinary shares at an issue price of AU$0.012 per share, representing a 7.7% discount to the company’s last closing price of AU$0.013 and a 6.24% discount to the 15-day volume weighted average price of AU$0.0128.
The company will issue the new shares using its available placement capacity under ASX Listing Rules 7.1 and 7.1A, and the issued securities will carry the same rights as the company’s currently listed shares. Following completion of the placement, AXP Energy’s total issued shares are expected to increase to 442,554,364. The capital injection will also enable the company to evaluate potential farm-in and lease opportunities as it continues expanding its energy asset portfolio in the United States.
