Tyro shares dropped significantly following its update on CEO and Managing Director resignation

Tyro Payments (ASX: TYR) announced that its CEO and Managing Director, Robbie Cooke has provided six months’ notice and is stepping down from his position.

Post the release of this announcement, TYR shares dropped over 17% from its previous close and at AEST 11:12 AM, its shares are trading at AU$0.645. 

Now, TYR’s Board will immediately start an executive search process canvassing internal as well as external candidates to recognise an appropriate CEO successor. Further, Robbie would work with Tyro’s Board to ensure a smooth transition.
