H3 Energy Reports Strong Technical Progress at Warro Gas Field
H3 Energy Limited (ASX: H3E) has announced encouraging results from an updated technical evaluation of its Warro Gas Field. An independent reservoir engineering review of the Warro 3 and Warro 6 wells identified multiple zones that previously produced gas without water, indicating the potential for stronger and possibly commercial gas flow if wells are properly completed and targeted.
The analysis supports the presence of a significant gas column within the reservoir. It also concludes that modern horizontal drilling and advanced stimulation techniques will likely be required to optimise output. Importantly, existing wellbores may be reused, which could lower future appraisal costs.
This work completes the first phase of the Warro review, which focused on understanding earlier operational limitations and identifying the most promising intervals. The next phase will involve detailed drilling and engineering plans aimed at confirming commercial potential. Warro’s location near major gas pipeline infrastructure further enhances its development prospects.
