Strata Minerals Limited-Capital Raising and Zelica Expansion Update
Strata Minerals Limited (ASX: SMX) has strengthened its exploration platform through an AU$1.175 million equity placement alongside the strategic acquisition of the Zelica South Gold Project. The capital raise, supported by institutional and sophisticated investors, will fund ongoing drilling and exploration initiatives across the Company’s gold portfolio, including the maiden drill program at Zelica. Complementing this momentum, Strata has secured full ownership of the adjoining Zelica South tenement, increasing the project’s contiguous landholding by 400% and extending the defined mineralised corridor to nearly 8 kilometres.
Zelica South represents a highly prospective but underexplored opportunity within Western Australia’s Yundamindra district, an area known for multiple large-scale gold deposits and access to established processing infrastructure. Historical work indicates strong gold potential, with high-grade rock chips and shallow drilling results highlighting several priority targets. With exploration planning underway and funding in place, Strata is positioned to accelerate growth across a significantly expanded project footprint.
