Renascor Advances Battery Materials Strategy with Completion of PSG Demonstration Facility
Renascor Resources Limited (ASX: RNU) has completed construction of its Purified Spherical Graphite (PSG) demonstration facility in Adelaide, South Australia, marking an important step in progressing its battery anode material development strategy. The milestone confirms that major processing equipment has been installed and interconnected, allowing the facility to move from pre-commissioning activities into the commissioning phase.
The demonstration facility will process graphite from the company’s Siviour Graphite Project and showcase its purification technology that avoids the use of hydrofluoric acid. This approach aims to provide a cleaner processing alternative while strengthening Renascor’s position in the global battery materials supply chain.
Plant commissioning is expected to begin later in March 2026, followed by staged operating runs to validate processing performance, generate product samples, and support engagement with potential customers as the company advances toward commercial-scale production.
