Green360 Secures Federal Grant to Advance Low-Carbon Cement Innovation
Green360 Technologies Limited (ASX: GT3) has received a Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) Project Grant from the Australian Federal Government to support the development of low-carbon construction materials. The collaborative project has been awarded funding of approximately AU$3.0 million, with Green360 contributing AU$200 thousand in cash along with technical expertise and kaolin-based products over the three-year program.
The initiative involves several partners, including Transport for NSW, the University of Melbourne, the University of Technology Sydney, Renex Group, and global consultancy firm Arup. The project aims to accelerate the decarbonisation of Australia’s construction sector by using calcined clay as a supplementary cementitious material that reduces carbon emissions while maintaining strong performance.
Testing and data collection will support the development of approved construction mix designs and help regulators and industry stakeholders adopt calcined clay solutions more widely. Green360 also plans to commercialise its Eco-Clay product in Victoria during the first half of 2026.
