Kina Securities Limited Launches Inaugural Bond Issue in Papua New Guinea

Kina Securities Limited (ASX: KSL) has announced the launch of its inaugural bond issue in Papua New Guinea, marking a significant step in strengthening its capital structure and funding capacity. The company intends to issue unsecured subordinated bonds with a total offering of up to PGK235 million, which are expected to qualify as Tier 2 Capital under prudential standards set by the Bank of Papua New Guinea. 

The bonds will carry a fixed coupon rate of 7.55% per annum, payable semi-annually, and will have a maturity period of ten years from the date of listing on the PNGX Debt Market. The minimum face value per bond is PGK50,000, with a minimum investment requirement of PGK250,000 for eligible investors. Proceeds from the issue are expected to support general corporate activities and strengthen the company’s financial position. The offer is targeted at institutional and high-net-worth
