Chariot Resources Raises AU$2.15 Million to Advance Lithium Projects
Chariot Resources Ltd (ASX: CC9) has secured firm commitments to raise AU$2.15 million through a placement to institutional, sophisticated, and professional investors. The capital will be raised via the issue of 21.5 million fully paid ordinary shares priced at AU$0.10 each.
Investors taking part in the placement will be granted one listed option at no cost for every two shares they purchase. Each option will allow the holder to acquire one share at an exercise price of AU$0.10, with an expiry date of 19 December 2028, subject to shareholder approval.
The funds raised are intended to support the acquisition of a 66.667% interest in a Nigerian hard-rock lithium portfolio from Continental Lithium Limited and to accelerate exploration activities in Nigeria. The company also plans to allocate funds toward maintaining mineral licences and covering general corporate and administrative expenses as it advances its lithium exploration strategy.
