Redstone Advances Saturn Project Near Major West Musgrave Discoveries
Redstone Resources Limited (ASX: RDS) has commenced plans to advance exploration at its recently granted Saturn Project in Western Australia, covering 330km² of highly prospective ground within the mineral-rich Giles Intrusive Complex. The project is strategically positioned near BHP’s Nebo-Babel and Succoth copper deposits, as well as Terra Metals’ Dante discoveries, enhancing its exploration potential. Historical drilling has already identified several promising copper, nickel, cobalt and platinum group element (PGE) targets, including broad mineralised intervals at the Halleys Prospect and encouraging PGE reef mineralisation at Halleys NW and Last Frontier. The project also hosts a large 13-kilometre-wide magnetic intrusion that shares geological characteristics with other significant PGE-bearing layered intrusions. Redstone believes the combination of favourable geology, historical results and proximity to major deposits supports the potential for additional discoveries. The company will begin access discussions with Traditional Owners before progressing exploration, while also preparing drilling activities across its broader West Musgrave exploration portfolio.
