Advance Metals Delivers Best Polymetallic Drill Results at Gavilanes
Advance Metals Limited (ASX: AVM) has announced its strongest polymetallic drilling results so far from the wholly owned Gavilanes Silver Project in Mexico, highlighting the potential for further resource growth. Diamond drill hole GV-26-003 intersected two shallow high-grade silver zones, including 15.6 metres grading 309g/t silver from 24 metres and 6 metres grading 204g/t silver from 58.8 metres. At greater depth, the hole returned a 37.5-metre mineralised interval grading 83g/t silver, 0.8g/t gold, 0.6% copper, together with lead and zinc, representing the project's highest combined silver-gold-copper intersection to date. The mineralisation continued to the end of the drill hole, indicating the system remains open for further expansion at depth and along strike. Ongoing drilling is aimed at extending the mineralised zones, with assay results from GV-26-004 awaited and GV-26-005 currently in progress. The company is targeting a JORC-compliant Mineral Resource update in Q4 CY2026 as exploration continues to strengthen confidence in the project's scale and geological potential.
