Perenti Secures AU$275 Million Fourmile Mining Contract in Nevada
Perenti Limited (ASX: PRN) has strengthened its North American growth strategy after its underground mining division, Barminco, secured a major contract at the Fourmile Project in Nevada, United States. The agreement, awarded by Barrick Mining Corporation, carries an estimated value of approximately AU$275 million and spans 45 months, with operations scheduled to begin in July 2026.
Under the contract, Barminco will undertake underground mine development and related mining services, including the construction of twin Bullion Hill portals, extensive underground development works, ground support activities, and supporting surface infrastructure..
The contract is expected to require around AU$39 million in growth capital during FY27. The award further enhances Perenti’s relationship with Barrick and reinforces the company’s objective of expanding in leading mining jurisdictions while growing its footprint in the large North American underground mining market.
