OzAurum Strengthens Mulgabbie North Development Case with Strong Heap Leach Test Results
OzAurum Resources Limited (ASX: OZM) has reported encouraging heap leach metallurgical test results from the James Stage 1 Open Pit at its Mulgabbie North Gold Project in Western Australia, reinforcing the project's potential for a low-cost development pathway. The latest column test achieved up to 82% gold recovery from saprolite and transition ore, while laboratory analysis indicates recoveries could improve to 88% with finer crushing. Testing of paleochannel ore has also delivered promising recoveries, highlighting consistent performance across multiple ore types. The project demonstrated low cyanide consumption, supporting expectations for efficient operating costs. Meanwhile, refurbishment of the heap leach processing plant is nearing completion, with several key components already dry commissioned. These developments strengthen the company's strategy to progress toward near-term production while supporting future expansion across the extensive Relief Shear mineralised corridor. The results provide greater confidence in advancing a scalable and potentially long-life gold operation.
