Brookside Energy Limited Commences Suttles Pad Drilling Program
Brookside Energy Limited (ASX: BRK) has commenced drilling operations at its Suttles pad in Oklahoma's SWISH Area of Interest, marking another milestone in its multi-well development strategy. The Sabres horizontal well is the first of a two-well program and is targeting the Sycamore Formation at an approximate depth of 7,700 feet with a planned 1.5-mile lateral section. Once drilling of Sabres is complete, the rig will immediately move to drill the Whalers well, targeting the Woodford Formation from the same pad.
Brookside holds an approximately 70% working interest in both wells, reinforcing its exposure to future production. Importantly, surface production infrastructure is substantially complete, enabling a faster transition from drilling and completion to commercial oil and gas sales. Management highlighted that extensive planning, regulatory approvals, facility preparation, and disciplined execution have positioned the project to progress efficiently while supporting the company's objective of expanding production and creating long-term shareholder value.
