OD6 Metals Limited Confirms Extensive High-Grade Fluorspar at Horseshoe Prospect
OD6 Metals Limited (ASX: OD6) has reported exceptional channel sampling results from the Horseshoe Prospect at its Quinn Fluorspar Project in Nevada, further confirming the scale, grade and continuity of near-surface fluorspar mineralisation. The program returned standout intersections including 50 metres at 63.9% CaF₂ from surface, 27 metres at 54.4% CaF₂, 22 metres at 70.7% CaF₂ and 15 metres at 75.8% CaF₂, with 118 channel samples averaging 64.4% CaF₂.
Mineralisation remains open both up-dip and down-dip, indicating significant resource expansion potential. The results support the interpretation of Horseshoe as a broad replacement-style system suitable for potential open-pit mining rather than a narrow vein deposit. With the United States currently reliant on imported fluorspar, the project could become an important domestic source of this critical mineral. OD6 plans to progress geological modelling, metallurgical studies, permitting, bulk sampling and maiden drilling as it advances the Quinn Project toward future development.
